16th Annual Dinner & Auction Sponsors

The Lee County Homeless Coalition announces record-breaking fundraiser efforts for their 16th Annual Dinner & Auction.
On Saturday, November 13th, 2021, the Lee County Homeless Coalition hosted its 16th Annual Dinner & Auction to benefit persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This event raised more than $32,000 to allow the Coalition and member agencies to continue their missions of making homelessness rare, brief, and onetime. The success of the evening was based on the support of numerous sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. This year’s Platinum Sponsor the John & Aliese Price Foundation. Gold sponsors Lahaina Realty, Park Royal Behavioral Health Services, CASL, Housing Authority City of Ft. Myers, The Davies Family & Lee Health. “We are extremely grateful for our generous sponsors, community partners and volunteers that helped make the evening such a success,” said Therese Everly, executive director, Lee County Homeless Coalition. “The monies raised will support our Coalition community partners, as the needs of families and individuals in the Lee County community is great.”
The event took place at Crowne Plaza Fort Myers with celebrity emcee Peter Busch of NBC-2 News and guest speaker Kathleen Smith, Public Defender of the 20th Judicial Circuit. Previous executive director, Janet Bartos, was honored at this event as well. Bartos was awarded the first annual Servant Leadership Award. A silent auction was also held, with 30 items up for bid including a lunch with the mayor, “Behind the Badge” donated by Lee County’s Sheriff Carmine Marceno, 2 night retreat stays, and gift baskets.
